It all started here, the strange and creepy side of the web. HCS has migrated mostly to YouTube and has started to branch off towards horror stories, but in these pages you will find a mixture of all sorts of bizarre things.
Visit the Holy Creep Sauce YouTube channel and subscribe
This website keeps a check on the Skyway Bridge in Florida. It has a very high rate of suicides and here you can find a live report of the attempts, success and saves of the people going there to jump. It does make for grim reading but hey, that's what this blog is about.
If this is something you find interesting though, there is also a documentary called The Bridge which can be found on Netflix. This is about the same kind of thing but at The Golden Gate Bridge.
Another strange site for you to visit but not if you have epilepsy. This is a simple black worm that likes to follow you around but he also likes to go clubbing. Might make you jump as well so watch out if you have a heart problem too.
This one is a bit of silliness. Everything seems to be random and changes every time you refresh the page. Lots of colours, images, animations and sounds.
This is a very real site. Unlike some of the legends and "is it real, is it fake?" things I have been posting. Very real and very eerie.
This site is a mixture of cockpit recordings and transcripts from the final communications aircraft had with ground control before they crashed. This is one for those with darker interests.
This is one seriously weird YouTube. I have not been through all of it myself but there is a great video from Scare Theater telling you all about it but he finished before this did. The channel might actually still be going on now so who knows where this will end up. It is linked with other channels linked below, and has a young lad, Elias Doyle, who was investigating the strange channels who ends up being their 'subject' and a lot of really weird goings on take place. It looks like it has come to a holt for now but gives a hint of more coming. This seems to be a growing genre of it's own, web theater. There are Twitter accounts for all as well.
At 6:30 am on the 1st of December 1948 a man was found dead on Somerton beach near Adelaide, Australia.
He had no identification and a public appeal brought no information on the man at all. To this day no one knows who he was or why he was dead on the beach. When an autopsy was performed no cause of death could be found.
A re-enactment of how and where the man was found.
His pockets contained a used bus ticket from the city, an unused second-class rail ticket from the city to nearby Henley Beach, a narrow aluminium American comb, a half-empty packet of Juicy Fruit chewing gum, an Army Club cigarette packet containing (the different brand of) Kensitas cigarettes, and a quarter-full box of Bryant & May matches.
One month later a suitcase was also found at the train station and is believed to have belonged to him. This still didn't give any clue as to who he was. The case contained:
■ Red checked dressing gown
■ Red felt slippers, size 7
■ Undergarments - four pairs
■ Pyjamas
■ Four pairs of socks
■ Shaving kit containing razor and strop, shaving brush
■ Light brown trousers with sand in cuffs
■ A screwdriver
■ A cut-down table knife
■ A stencilling brush
■ A pair of scissors
■ A sewing kit containing orange Barbour's brand waxed thread
■ Two ties
■ Three pencils
■ Six handkerchiefs
■ Sixpence in coins
■ A button
■ A tin of brown shoe polish, Kiwi brand
■ One scarf
■ One cigarette lighter
■ Eight large envelopes and one small envelope
■ One piece of light cord
■ One shirt without a name tag
■ One yellow coat shirt (a shirt with an attached collar)
■ Two airmail stickers
■ One eraser
■ One front and one back collar stud
■ Toothbrush and toothpaste
Months after he was found, someone going back over the case found a small scrap of paper in the fob pocket of his trousers. It said Tamam Shud in print, which is Persian for either ended or finished and it was identified to be ripped from a book. It was worked out that the book was Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, a book of 12th century poetry.
A man heard of this case and the book. He came forward with a copy of the book that he had found tossed in to the back of his car the night before the man was found. The back page was missing where this phrase would have been printed. On the inside of the books back cover they found indentations from hand writing which showed a code that has never been deciphered.
There have been many people working on this case and it has spanned out all over the world. There are many theories and some possible ideas on who he might have been but there is nothing solid anywhere. This is still now considered a great mystery and we will probably never know who he was, why he was there or what it all means.
On February 19th 2013 the naked body of 21 year old Elisa Lam was found in the water tank on the roof at The Cecil Hotel in LA. Residents had been complaining that the water was running slow, had an odd taste and was looking a little brown so the tank was checked and there she was.
She was last seen alive on January 21st and once she was found they checked over the video from the lift and found this. No one has been able to pin down exactly what she is doing or why but the theories are all over the net. The most accepted one is some kind of mental episode due to her background with depression and bipolar disorder and the four medications she was taking for it. It was ruled that she died of accidental drowning which they do believe was most likely self inflicted.
There are still a lot of questions around the case though as to how she managed to get up there to the roof, how she managed to get in the tank and how she managed to drown in it unassisted. Some people believe there is someone unseen in this video that is the cause of her freak out while others have suggested demonic possession. There are even conspiracy theories about her being involved in something to do with Tuberculosis research as the vaccine for it is called Lam-Elisa. Thoughts?
This site has been known for quite some time and I have seen it many times over. It just goes on and on and gets confusing. There isn't an explanation for it but some say it's the work of a crazy mathematician and others seem to think it's related to the devil or Illuminati. I'm not sure what it is all about but I do know it's weird.
I am not an expert on art by any stretch of the imagination but as the saying goes, I like what I like. And it seems I like Olivier De Sagazan's Transfiguration. While I know this blog is not about art, I can't help but share this because it really is quite something.
I have seen a video of this before being passed around Facebook and it did catch my attention. It's a very strange performance involving clay, water, paint, hair and sticks. There are a few videos out there of Olivier performing this but I personally find this one to be the best, much better than the one that was passed around. It shows the full performance and is far more emotive than the others....it also gets much more strange.
By now you will have noticed that I do like to share the work of others. I do love the YouTube creators and like to promote the work they do. So here is another guy I like to watch, Rob Dyke. Here he is covering a story I have read about a few times and find chilling. I personally think this video is real and that the guy in it most likely met a horrid end. I won't bother telling you the story as Rob does it so well. So just get settled in and watch.
This video is a very long one and a very harrowing one. I remember this is the news when it all came out. A guy who was suffering some kind of metal break down had decided that he loved Bjork so much and hated black people so much that it was unacceptable for her to be seeing Goldie.
He decided this was a good reason to send her an acid bomb in the post and then kill himself. He filmed many, many hours of footage of himself setting everything up and then even filmed the final act. His body was found along with all the evidence of what he had done in enough time to stop the package reaching Bjork.
The man who did this was named Ricardo Lopez and it's very clear he needed help and a lot of it. This video is a compilation of his videos to show the main parts of what he captured. It runs for 104 minutes and yes I have sat through every moment of it. I can't embed it here, it won't accept the code but the link is below.
This is another channel that doesn't make any sense and is just damn weird.
01A51CD0 catchy name right? Not many videos on it and it was only active in 2011, the first video being posted on November 11th and the final one on December 26th.
The videos all have upside down writing and most feature masks of a monkey and a rabbit. The last three are odd, just the guy running, then on a bike and then watching someone from the bushes.
What can you say about Shaye Saint John? She was a model who was in a terrible accident causing horrid disfigurement. She then rebuilt herself using mannequin parts and is left with mental problems due to CIA mind experiments. She became obsessed by celebrity and believes she is still a hot model despite living in squalled conditions and being friends with a haunted doll.
Sounds crazy yes? Well it's all the creation of a guy named Eric Fournier. The website is a mad mish mash of odd things that don't really make much sense and there are plenty of videos of Shaye doing all kinds of stuff. The most well known is "Hand thing".
Sadly the creator passed away from complications connected to alcohol problems on the 25th February 2010, but he leaves behind him all of this craziness. What a legacy x
I know this blog is not normally about anything personal to me, just things that I find interesting and strange. However I thought this one was worth a share.
I had a strange thing happen in my house today. We have some little bottles of bubble stuff on the kitchen work top with the lids off. They had been left out from earlier bubble play time. I was sat on the soft with the hubby when we heard one of the lids clatter to the kitchen floor. The door to the kitchen is right next to us and wide open so we can see straight in. There was nothing near it and the cat was sat right next to me.
This on it's own was very strange. I picked the lid up and put it back on the work top with the others and I called out. I asked that if it was someone trying to get in touch then could they do it again. I went back to watching telly and a little while later I had forgotten about it. I went to put some washing in that was on the floor of the kitchen waiting it's turn for the cycle. I bent down to pick it up and found the lid on top of it.
I do get the odd strange thing happen in my house now and then but this was an interesting one.
This is a very strange one and I am told my Granddad was a lover of this story.
So the story goes that in 1943 the unified field theory was used to make a cloaking device for the USS Eldridge, leaving it invisible. This involved using electrical generators to bend light around the ship though it has not been proven that this is even possible.
The first time they tried this is said to have worked but left a green mist in the ships place. The ship then vanished and was teleported to Norfolk, Virginia. There it was seen to appear and then vanish once more before returning to it's original place in Philadelphia. The test was thought to be a great success by those watching until they found that many of the men aboard had various parts of them embedded in the metal of the ship.
The accounts do vary from place to place but that is the main gist of the story. Many people believe this to be a work of fiction but there are people out there that say it has truth to it. Have the military have been testing things that seem impossible with devastating results? Things which they then went to extreme lengths to cover up? You decided.
This is a YouTube channel called Jack Torrance and claims to host converted media that was found in a sale. The channel info is as follows:
These are movies that we found in 10 rather large boxes at an estate sale for 5 bucks a box. It was being held in a barn about 15 miles west of Austin TX. There were some old records (which we also bought) some rusted tools, tons of paint cans, various other bits of old useless junk, and these boxes. The people running the estate sale didn't seem to know that they were there and priced them for us on the spot. The films vary in formats ranging from old 35mm stock reels to betamax. Many of the films are damaged beyond repair but we are trying our best to repair and clean them up. As we dig through the boxes, catalog, and digitize more videos and audio we will post more.
The authenticity of this is questionable and there are people out there debunking it. I have to say I'm not buying it but it does make for really strange watching and if you imagine it is all real (which it could be, you never know) then it's really creepy. And yes Jack Torrance is the name of the guy from The Shining but it might be a coincidence he has the same name or he might just like the character.
Yep, we are on YouTube. Only one video so far but more will be joining it. This first one is about the case of the Somerton man, a mystery body found on the beach.
If you dig around on YouTube you can find all sorts of things. If you dig long enough you will eventually come across some that are a total mystery. This one however was solved and it turned out to be pretty boring. It's a Google test and nothing more but it delighted theory lovers for a long time. There are however plenty more unexplained channels out there that are still a mystery to this day.
Jerry Ehman, a radio astronomer, was looking through data collected by The Big Ear Telescope in 1977 and he came across something staggering. This was done in the search for any communication from alien life. He made the freak discovery on the data print out, circled it in red pen and wrote 'WOW!' next to it, thus the WOW signal was born.
The Big Ear was listening for radio waves from an area of sky near the constellation of Sagittarius. The data print outs were a visual representation of the sounds it was collecting. In all the 1's and 2's on the print out, Jerry saw 6EQUJ5. This is the actual recording that was picked up.
The same patch of sky has been listened to for years to see if anything else comes from it, but nothing ever has. It's estimated that the distance the signal traveled to get to us was 200 light years. This means the signal would have taken 200 years from being transmitted to the day it actually reached us. If we send one back it will take 200 years to get back to them.
We may never know where the signal came from or who sent it. It looks like this is another mystery we will never solve.
The deep web is full of strange and horrifying things. There are lots of videos that have been pulled from the deep side to the top by people who spend time searching around but the worst of it has to be cut out. These people often do report anything they find that is illegal and just down right sick.
I have already shown you the Blank Room Soup video and linked SomeOrdinaryGamers. This video has been made by Mr. Nightmare who is also a great source of creepy info on YouTube. In this episode he does show you Blank Room Soup and does explain some of the strange facts behind the video, but then he goes on to show you five more. Some of these are not shown due to the question over it's actual existence or the graphic nature. He instead explains these videos to you. These do get pretty bad so proceed with caution.
Another Youtuber that I really like is TakeDownMan. In this video he does let you watch the things he has found on the deep web without talking over it. A couple of them are repeated from before but you get a more clear view. Also find below a short interview with Goddess Bunny in more recent times. Bunny is the one seen dancing in the Illuminati video.
There was a legend in Pennsylvania of The Green Man aka Charlie no face. He was said to be some kind of terrifying green glowing thing that would prowl around at night on country roads with no face.
Unlike many urban legends this one was in fact true. Almost.
Raymond Robinson had the misfortune to suffer an electrical accident when he was young which cost him his eyes, nose, an ear and an arm. It left him looking rather strange and with a green hue to his skin. For this reason he would go out for his walk in the fresh air at night. He couldn't see anyway so the dark didn't matter to him and it would save him from hearing people's horrid comments on his appearance and even gasps or screams. However there were still the odd few people that got a glimpse of him and thus the legend of Charlie no face was born.
Ok so if you are like me and the deep web interests you but you either don't have the know how, the tech or the balls to go on it yourself, this is the best thing I have found by far. This guy not only has an insane number of videos of him browsing the deep web and showing you all kinds of stuff he finds, he's actually pretty entertaining to watch as well.
The YouTube channel is called SomeOrdinaryGamers and the deep web delving is epic. Here is just one of those many videos.
This is another one that I have kept coming back to. UVB 76 also known as The Buzzer. It's a radio station which sends out a buzzing sound which is interrupted every now and then with some kind of code involving names and numbers all spoken in Russian.
The buzz is sounded 25 times per minute 24 hours a day and has been doing so since around 1982 but the exact start is debated.
The location of the broadcast was worked out and you can see photos taken in the abandoned station. The broadcast is still in operation from a new location as of 2010 which is also known. The only thing that is still very unclear is the purpose of it. Lots of odd theories out there so it makes for an interesting bit of Google/YouTube time.
Let's kick off with a really strange one. This video was pulled from some corner of the deep web and no one seems to know what it is or where it came from. It's uncertain if this is something real or if this is acted out as a kind of performance piece. It was found that the suits(a character called RayRay)were stolen from a performance artist who was later shocked to see that whoever is wearing them in this video is moving in the exact way he intended the characters to move. Personally I can't see how the movement is that special but he insisted that the movement was very specific and took his actors a long time to learn. They have no idea who it was that took the suits or where they are now. This one might stay a mystery forever.
This blog will be a bit here and there as I don't look at creepy stuff all the time, but when I do I REALLY do. I am feeling creepy at the moment and I think my creep out might be lasting a few days this time time so I will post some interesting stuff as I find it. Maybe you know it already, maybe you don't. I will also go back over some of the more interesting things I have found in the past too. Some might be pretty tame but I do like the more horrid stuff too hence this being classed as an adult theme blog.....it might get gory.
